Injury claim

If you have been involved in an accident, and through no fault of your own have suffered an injury as a result, then chances are you will be able to claim compensation. No matter how minor your injury appears to be at this stage or who the person or company at fault was, making an injury claim is your right and should be exercised to bring justice to a difficult situation.

What types of injuries can be claimed for?
One of the most frequent types of injury claim submitted relate to accidents on the road. Whether you were a driver or passenger of a car, or were travelling on public transport or a bike at the time of the accident, if you were hurt and another driver was at fault, you can claim. Common injuries include back and neck injuries, including whiplash, and injuries to the head or hands as a result of the collision.
Less common, but still a source of regular claims, relate to slips and trips when out and about. Building owners, local councils and workmen have a responsibility to ensure public rights of way and the public areas within buildings are kept safe, clean and free from hazards that could cause a trip. Slipping on wet floors, broken paving slabs or tripping over trailing cables can all result in a range of injuries, from twisted ankles to broken wrists, all of which are regularly seen by professionals handling injury claim cases.
Sometimes even the workplace is not as safe as it should be, and workers sometimes become injured as a result of faulty machinery, poor training or bad health and safety practice. In cases like this an injury claim will often result in remedial action by the employer, meaning other employees will be safer at work in the future, so it is especially important to make a claim if this has happened to you.

When should you claim?
As a general rule of thumb, the sooner the better applies to any type of injury claim. The sooner you can start the claims process, the easier it will be for your solicitor to contact any witnesses and get hold of any other evidence required. Also your injury will be fresh, so if you need to see an independent doctor they will be able to see first hand the extent of your injuries.
Personal injury law understands that making an injury claim is not necessarily the first thing on someone’s mind after they have been involved in an accident. That is why claims can still be started up to three years after the accident happened. In the case of industrial disease and other issues that take years to reveal themselves, there is still a chance to claim beyond the three year cap.

How much does it cost?
These days, the majority of solicitors who deal with injury claim cases will work on a no win no fee basis. This means you will not have to pay them anything if your claim is not successful, and there will be nothing to pay up front.

The Popular Rise of Circus Training and Aerial Arts for Anyone and Everyone

And what an increase there now is than mere spectator interest! Pole dance, being the most popular form in the recent years, has very quickly grown into a very large industry, globally. This particular form seems to have grown to such an extent that now, instructors and teachers of this form are not necessarily from a circus or professional performance upbringing. Instead, the sport has evolved into growing numbers of people with a pure interest in become highly skilled in pole and trained enough to then run classes and sessions for anyone wanting to learn from, gain exercise from and enjoy this art form.

While pole has been around for numerous years, the trend appears to now be shifting to other forms of aerial arts. It is clear that different circus skills and training in aerial arts such as aerial hoop, flying trapeze, silk rope acrobatics, and so many more, are now widely available to the local person; with increasing numbers of institutes and associations offering up their expertise. I would bet that you would find a number of gyms, studios or institutions running a business providing such services in the different styles and forms of circus tricks and aerial arts, in most areas of modern society, with more and more opening soon.

I sense the regular layman wants something more challenging to get their bodies twisted into! Pole is always a conversation sparker, but taking lessons in silk rope for example, is even more eye-brow-raising conversation. Aside from being great subject matter for conversation, it is something that more and more people are pursuing to keep their healthy lifestyles and activity diaries more exciting. I think pole will continue to remain in fashion, forever appealing to younger and enthusiastic bodies keen to participate, but these other art forms will grab the attention and curiosity of those wanting more of the same. I have a friend who currently trains in pole twice a week, dabbles in silk ropes once every so often and is now keen to get into flying trapeze also. Am told, by said friend, that there are numerous activities that one can explore and the perks of doing so are plentiful.

After some basic research in my local areas and delving into the pro's and cons (of which there were not many cons), I have found myself making enquiries into what's on offer and how I can fit this into my lifestyle to give it a new lease of life. I can see how stimulating the mind and body with a daring and defiant sporting activity is highly addictive and the appeal of taking up a sport of this nature versus attending the gym and spending an hour on 2-3 different monotonous movement machines, is overpowering.

If, you are a business or organisation in this industry and you want to give the people something new and inspiring, something that has a prolonged life-expectancy for both consumer and commerce, and provides a good return for both parties, I would have to say you are in the right place. Expanding into and branching out into a range of aerial arts for the end user, is a good idea and very timely right about now. It is not just for those who want to be in the circus and performance world; the average person now wants to have a go too. Yes, something newer could come along, but if you think about how centuries-old 'Circus' has been around for, and how only recently have the classes for the masses come into being, it seems safe to say that the likes of Circus Arts of the Aerial kind will be sticking around and will be attracting many more.

A Look Into Irish Dance Dresses

As part of Ireland customs, dances were performed during social gatherings. The dancers wore Irish dance dresses that were maroon, white and green in color. The dresses were embroidered with hand made Celtic patterns and stone crosses. The designs for the costumes were inspirations gotten from books of Irish stone crosses, chalice and Kells. It is important to note that the garments worn these days are a reflection of costumes worn during the 8th century.

Although the make of these garments has greatly changed due to the growth of several dance schools present in Ireland, they are still playing a crucial role in societal lives of Ireland's people. One of the first blueprints was that of which women dancers commonly dressed in back bodices over their skirts that were usually embroidered at home. This costume was usually a full length dress that normally stretched to the ankles. It was also well decorated by ribbons so as to give it color and make it very attractive.

In the last half of 19th century, hooded cloaks were worn together with a white dress. However, in the twentieth century, the cloak was replaced with a shawl. It is important to note that the shawl was not just used the way it was, but rather through inspirations of the traditional costume worn by the Irish men, it became the official costume that is used up to date.

Another thing that was usually decorated by dancers and was worn around the waist is a cord. It normally hung across the knees and ended with an embellishment. However, dancers wanted to come up with attires that would distinguish them. Thus, men come up with a Celtic kilt that was usually worn by pipe players.

Indeed the dance has really revolutionized in terms of location, costume worn and fashion. The dresses still remain rich and ornate in representation of conventional culture. Modern dresses do not only get influenced with the traditional pleasing clothing but it is usually sewn in Celtic designs.

In addition, schools that people enrolled in for dancing lessons had a major influence on the kind of designs for costumes. An explanation to this is that each school tried as much as possible to have a design that was very different from the rest. Thus, it changed heavily on costumes knitted.

Thus, with new trendy designs from various institutions, the new unique designs stole the limelight from the old ones that were very few. However, there are new designs that are composed of the old designs such as the stitched and interwoven designs. With borrowing of such designs, the traditions and culture of the Irish people is still preserved.

Lastly keep in mind that though the designs and colors of the Irish dance dresses have changed from the traditional costumes they still reflect the costumes that were worn in Gaelic times. Most importantly, note that the red color, which was not used in these designs due to its connection with the British colonizers of Ireland, is now being used in current designs. The costumes worn by men are also simple nowadays, and include a jacket, a plain pant or kilt and finally a cloak.

Actually, most filmmakers seek after realistic ones rather than those who might make the movie appear artificial.
